The new fragrance from Nasomatto is called China White - inspired maybe by the tea notes. I wait to smell it as most of other perfumes from the brand are unusual. They are not available (to my knowledge) in France and were not advertised very much. But there is something strange about them that I'd like to talk about. This brand is available in Romania among other niche brands and people’s reactions are rather strange and unpredictable. Romanians are shy in perfumes and very classical - the opposite of what Nasomatto fragrances are. I was surprised to see how many people tried and liked the perfumes with absolutely no advertising or strong brand presence. In a perfumery with Creed and Annick Goutal, classical scents, beautiful stories, and nice bottles - the Nasomatto range had a very strong appeal to the public that I cannot explain. Absinth, Hindu Grass, or Duro are not easy perfumes. But they have something addictive inside that has nothing to do with the brand (the brand also does not speak about ingredients).I cannot explain what addiction could be in perfumes but I experienced something similar with Chinese cuisine. Near my flat in Paris there is a small Chinese restaurant and I always suspect them to put something in the food. It sounds bizarre, but every time I eat something it seems that I have to return the next days like driven by a spell.
I'm curious to see if the new China White from Nasomatto will be as addictive as the previous perfumes.
