Dominique Ropion (IFF) received on 5th november the 2008 Prix du Parfum from the French Cosmetic Valley (after Christine Nagel in 2007) while Jean Paul Guerlain received the "Grand Prix d'Honneur" for his entire work. Dominique Ropion is the author of many excellent perfumes for Givenchy, Kenzo, Mugler, F.Malle, Lalique, etc.
