After EU, China writes NO 5 CHANEL

The tension was high this morning at CHANEL headquarters because CHINA, where everything is under strict control by the Party, is worried by the case of No5 in EUROPE. The thunder is now in Asia, the land of the dragon. New China reports the Chanel black list in Europe and is worried about the consequences. Chanel PR machine is less powerful in China to hide the real dimension of the No5 "cataclysm" in Europe.
China is a strong emerging market for CHANEL and No5 has a strong cult in Asia. But after the EU BAN, China and Japan, with a much complicated and strict regulation are worried by the allergies caused by Chanel No5. They all follow the trends in Europe in terms of legislation adding their own "touch".
The Chinese press reports the position and the start of the end in Asia. Asian market is much more concerned about health and cosmetics than Europe. Without the Chanel symbol in CHINA, say adieu to Chanel bags. The socialist economy can always produce its own version of No5 as they duplicated everything. A EU ban on Chanel No5 is the perfect excuse to sell the own Chinese version. When a perfume from Europe is desired but is forbidden for production, people will buy their own Asian version. After all, the camelia flower and Coromandel screens are Chinese....
The END of an EMPIRE? Chinese might favor the French perfume, but they will never forget what France did to their imperial gardens in the XIXth century, a scandal which emerged once again when Pierre Bergé sold the art works of YSL (a Chinese stolen artwork from the imperial fountain). This time, it is the emergence of a new economy because China do produces perfumes and bottles. I had the chance to see in Paris the counterfeited European perfumes made in China - it is hard to say which bottle / packaging is the original. Now, with so many new designs and no European library of perfumes and designs it is impossible for the specialist to tell the difference.
The perfect excuse comes right in time with CHANEL EU BAN. There are many cases of allergies in China, they have a different skin type and CHANEL did not invest in research, only in visual campaigns across the globe. Perfume was sold in China without a strict control - which is real No5 and which is fake No5?...
It is hard do say right now, how many allergies produced in China are caused by the European version of Chanel and how many were caused by counterfeited versions. These are the risks of a brand too big and with such a strong public image. 
On a global market how many cases of Asian allergies caused by major brands are known in Europe? Because of the language barrier and clever PR which hides everything from public view, a EU consumer knows nothing ....He believes his Chanel perfume is unique, rare, precious.
Brands went global, but know they are faced to the consequences ... SKIN is different.
After CHANEL had conquered CHINA with the magnificent Shanghai collection, here comes the price.... The EU BAN is closing the doors of the Forbidden City for No5 ?

The lesson to consider from what is about to happen to CHANEL in ASIA is .... never sell to many perfumes everywhere, empires rise and fall suddenly. Bubble No5....
