Fame - Lady Gaga - new perfume review

Without so much buzz and "image", Fame would be a decent creation sold as the new "Little Black Dress" by Avon - a floral fruity fresh powdery accord that pleases everybody and doesn't disturb anyone. A sweet powdery note, a floral white complex with nothing special and no particular note
But, with such a name and such an investment in movies and rhetoric, Fame is not what you believe, not what you expect. It has absolutely nothing to do with the glamorous image of the artist, nothing provocative or disturbing and not even a decent representation of the notes and ideas expressed through the short videos which came with it. The new generation is not ready for the exclusive and special perfumes with forbidden notes. They are not for millions. Too shocking. The expectations are higher, the result is mediocre compared to what is should be and compared to any other perfume on shelves. Take any modern Guerlain or even Womanity by Mugler, captivating and disturbing. If you want powder heliotrope apricot, take Chloé Love, exquisite. Fame is rather a classic than a shocking scent. Any Serge Lutens floral perfume does the dark side better than Fame.
When I first met Lady Gaga in Paris, she shopped a nude&black dress from a Romanian designer near rue Cambon,  I thought she was artificial, but she has a particular scent trail. Fame, the perfume sold today worldwide is not her sillage. People wouldn't dare to wear a "poison orchid" and the true belladonna flower. You can Photoshop a career, but a perfume reveals many things.
The only great thing about Fame is the idea expressed by the official notes. Take them in the correct representation and you will have an amazing perfume. Do not fool yourself because you love Lady Gaga and because you did not smell other fragrances. This is the commercial version of the perfume, now sold in US for millions. It is not the perfume she is using. Lady Gaga was given a bottle in the past, before her fame was everywhere. It contained a special essence, a modern perfume based on something ancient with an accord which cannot be used in modern perfumes. That was the real Fame, which cannot be shared with ordinary people. Only those in personal contact with her, and just on some occasions, had the chance to smell what it is and know who made it. This accord is known as "accord Miracle", but has nothing to do with the eponymous scent made by Lancôme. Something similar to that accord is sold at Jovoy in Paris, rue Castiglione, but I do not wish to reveal the name of the perfume, it is better to go and discover it.
This is the drama of ordinary people buying mainstream perfumes - they do not have access to the real essence of fame, high quality perfumes reserved to an elite.
