The production of CHANEL No5 will stop in 2013?

After the intriguing and costly advertising with Brad Pitt, the rumors about the END of CHANEL in Europe are on everybody's lips.

The perfume will enter the MAD Museum in New York this month and it will be probably the last time the public will see it. The perfume, as it is sold in 2012 is already a different formula which has little to do with the original creation of Ernest Beaux, mutilated by previous reformulations since the early 90's, but still a very good perfume extract. But now .... No5 will be forbidden in Europe?
Coco Chanel would probably put an end to the production as she did with the fashion house in 1939. Karl Lagerfeld, after a glorious career, has no successor. The Swiss family running the business has a tough decision to take this Christmas before the spring Haute Couture Show. My only hope is that the house will make a clear announcement in the future to allow customers to buy enough perfumes before The End.

COCO avant CHANEL
The style of Chanel hats in 1913, before 31 rue Cambon  and a fashion model for Christmas 1918 (my collection) when Beaux had lost the Rallet business after the Revolution dreaming for a new dawn - the sparkle which inspired him.
